Trey has been a big part of the Sydney hip-hop scene for more than 10 years. She brings her traditional Fijian culture to meet modern hip-hop. This makes her a skilled and unique part of the scene.

The name Trey comes from her days as a graffiti artist. Her name is an acronym. T.R.E.Y. stands for The Rhyming Edifying Young’un.

Trey is also active in community workshops, particularly in western Sydney. Along with DJ Nick Toth she runs workshops for young people. MC Trey and Maya Jupiter are known for running the first all-female workshops.

Trey has put her solo career aside to team up with Maya and Nick to form the group Foreign Heights. Their debut album, Grindin’ has just been released.
